NASAA COVID-19 Enforcement Task Force Takes 250 Actions to Protect Investors From Pandemic Fraudsters
The North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) reported today that its COVID-19 Enforcement Task Force, consisting of state and provincial securities regulators, has taken action to disrupt 250 schemes fraudulently seeking to profit from the pandemic and will continue its work to protect investors in the coming year as the pandemic response shifts into the vaccination phase.

CFTC and 30 States Charge Los Angeles Precious Metals Dealers in Ongoing $185 Million Fraud Targeting the Elderly
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission and 30 state regulators that are members of NASAA announced the filing of a joint civil enforcement action in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas against two precious metals dealers and their companies for perpetrating a $185 million fraudulent scheme targeting elderly persons nationwide.
