The Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance has issued a notice of rulemaking hearing. The Department is proposing the adoption of new rules related to the small intrastate offering exemption, crowdfunding, integration of offerings, and an exclusion from the definition of “investment adviser” for advisers to certain private funds.

A public hearing on the proposals will be held on January 7, 2016, at 9:30 A.M., CST at the offices of the Department, 1526 K Street, Suite 300, Lincoln, Nebraska 68508. All interested persons are invited to attend and testify at the hearing. Interested persons may also submit written comments to the Department prior to the hearing, which comments will be made part of the hearing record at the time of the hearing.
